Project Description:
The Hampton Inn is a 99 room hotel located on Foxcroft Avenue in Martinsburg, West Virginia. The Fox Hagerstown team provided all survey, planning and engineering services for construction of the Hampton Inn. Fox provided close coordination with the developer and the architectural design team , the traffic engineers, and City of Martinsburg, WV staff throughout the design and construction. This project also required close coordination with the development of the adjoining lots within Foxcroft Village; a large scale commercial development.
Site Considerations:
- Processing of plans through the City of Martinsburg and West Virginia review agencies to obtain plan approval and site work permits.
- Obtaining review and approval from West Virginia Division of Highways
- Special design considerations included design storm drain system to safely pass drainage from adjacent I-81 through the site and onward to the regional storm water management facility.
