Project Description:
- Massey Boulevard was constructed in conjunction with the 440,000 square foot Crosspoint Shopping Center and the Valley Mall expansion projects. Design of this super elevated roadway included obtaining a railroad crossing permit from CSX and intersection design for its connections to US Route 11 and to Cole Road. This project included getting approvals for extensive utility relocations and preparation of related easement/right-of-way documents. Also included was design of 400 L.F. of concrete retaining wall incorporating guard rail in order to avoid impacts to the adjoining Virginia Avenue Church of God property.
